Privacy Policy
Gym Mogul: Idle Tycoon · Open Acre LLC · Effective October 24, 2026
This policy explains what information the game Gym Mogul: Idle Tycoon (“the Game”) uses, why, and the choices you have. The Game is published by Open Acre LLC, Cle Elum, Washington, USA (“we”, “us”).
The short version: you don’t make an account, and we don’t run servers that collect your data. Your gym and progress are saved on your device. The Game shows optional reward videos from Google AdMob, and Google collects some information to show those ads, as described below. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple.
1. Information stored on your device
To save your progress, the Game stores data only on your device, in the app’s own storage. This includes your gym’s name and layout, in-game cash and gems, upgrades, settings, tutorial progress, daily task progress and login streak. We do not receive this data. It is not sent to us, and it is removed when you delete the Game.
2. Information we collect
We (Open Acre LLC) do not collect, receive or store personal information from the Game. We don’t ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game offers optional reward videos: you choose to watch one in exchange for gems or bonus earnings. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. When an ad is requested or shown, Google may collect and process:
- Device identifiers, including Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking when iOS asks;
- IP address and approximate (coarse) location derived from it;
- Device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version);
- Ad interactions (for example, whether an ad was shown, watched or tapped) and diagnostic data used to measure and prevent fraud.
Google uses this information to deliver, measure and improve ads, and, where you allow it, to show ads more relevant to you. Google’s use of data is governed by its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Your choices for ads
- App Tracking Transparency: the first time you watch a video, iOS asks whether the Game may track you. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, your advertising identifier is not shared and ads are less personalized. Reward videos still work either way. You can change this any time in iPhone/iPad Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Privacy choices (EEA, UK, Switzerland and some U.S. states): where required by law, Google’s consent message lets you choose how your data is used for ads. You can review or change your choice at any time in the Game: open Settings (the gear button) and tap Ad privacy choices.
- Don’t want ads at all? Simply don’t tap “Watch a video.” Ads never play unless you choose them.
4. In-app purchases
Gem packs are sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment. We never receive your name, payment card or billing details. Apple only tells the Game whether a purchase succeeded so it can add your gems. Apple’s handling of your information is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.
5. Notifications
If you allow notifications, the Game schedules reminders on your device (for example, “Your Pool is ready” or “Your till is full”). These are local notifications: no data is sent to us or to a push service to deliver them. You can turn them off in the Game (Settings → Notifications) or in your device Settings.
6. Summary table
| Data | Who receives it | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress and settings | Stays on your device | Saving your game |
| Advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), IP address, coarse location, device info, ad interactions | Google (AdMob) | Showing and measuring optional reward videos, preventing fraud |
| Purchase confirmation | Apple (processes payment) | Delivering gems you buy |
7. Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, contact us and we will help address it.
8. Data retention and deletion
Your game data stays on your device until you delete the Game or use the in-game “Reset game” option. Because we don’t hold personal data about you, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. For data held by Google for advertising, you can manage it through your Google privacy settings and the in-game ad privacy choices.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information. To opt out of personalized ads, use Ask App Not to Track and the in-game Ad privacy choices. For any request, contact us below.
10. Security
Your game data is protected by your device’s own security and Apple’s app sandbox. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but because the Game doesn’t send your progress to our servers, there is no central database of player data.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how the Game handles information, we will update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
